FROSH - Beach Party

Dzintari - Latvia (Former USSR)

This has to be one of the best parties I have been lucky enough to play at. For starters it was in the former Soviet state Latvia.

The sounds of US House & Garage had never been heard before there so we was not really sure what to expect. As it turned out the night was brilliant.

The venue was on a beach just outside the capital Riga. The weather was hot and the crowd were well up for it. An expected attendance of around 3000 was soon exceeded and by midnight I would reckon there was in the region of 15,000 people in and around the party area.

Myself and Dom Palermo were originally booked to play two 2 hour sets but we eventually played 9 hours back to back!!!!

We look forward to making a return visit to Latvia in the very near future.
